iChat problems

Whenever a friends of mine tried to send me a picture it just sends over and over again and I have to restart iChat. Seems to be a little bit after that iChat update.

Anyone know of this?

It sounds like it could be a firewall issue. Are you using a firewall? Is the iChat port open?

I don't have OS X's firewall turned on but I have a Linksys router firewall.

What is the iChat port number?

I can connect to people useing iChat using the VOIP, or is this seperate?

is he sending it as a file or putting it in the ichat conversion itself. Generally speaking, ichat crashes a lot if you are moving jpeg inside the conversion window, but behaves as a file transfer.
