hmm... i thought there was one for iMovie that let you burn to .dmg files

That's not an "easter egg"
IIRC, it's a feature of iDVD 4 (that's the number of the current one, right?)
in iDVD 3 (or the one before this one.. if it's not 4) it was a hack you could do, so you could burn to external burner.

Easter eggs are stupid, IMHO. I don't see the point. Yes, they can be fun at times, but usually amount to less fun than you had looking for/finding them. For example, that crappy pinball game hidden in Windows.

Perhaps I would be more into easter eggs if they weren't so disappointing, but then again I suppose if they were that great, they wouldn't be hidden.

Spot on katie ta achoo, although I think we're up to 5.0.1 now. :)

Generally an Easter egg doesn't really have a purpose other than just being a bit quirky.

Here is a good one for you: If you still use a Windows XP box there's a patch you can download of LimeWire or other P2P and it will unlock it to Professional

I thought that just changed the words to "XP PRo" from "xp home"

*shrug*

and talking about illegal things downloaded off P2P is frowned upon here.. and can result in bannination.

That is not an ester egg. That is a crack and it is illegal.

The secret with iChat

It's not that popular and people (outside of the US at least) barely use it.
