ichat status

how come when i pick available or away or something in the status, no one can see that? how do i make it so that others can see my status?

dont use iChat
Use Adium instead.

get the 2.0 alpha not 1.6 or whatever it was. The alpha is more customizable and nicer (its right underneath the 1.6 dl link, its like "Newest Alpha" or something).

You can make your contact list translucent and customize it to your needs

it also supports AIM/MSN/Jabber (previously it did)/Gadu-Gadu/Trepia...
