I have a question for a Mac expert. I am training my dog at home and would like to point my iSight camera at him and have it take a still photo and post it to my .mac account so I could then use my iPhone to go to my .mac account and then see what my dog is up to. Even better would be if there was a way to video conference my home computer from my iPhone. Is there possibly a web based application that could do this. I have already got my old computer with a different iChat name to auto answer a video chat. I used apple script to do this. So if I am around another computer I can video chat with my dog. But I would like to get stils or even better video from my iPhone.

Thanks

Evocam is an excellent application which can, among other things, take pictures at a set interval or when motion is detected and upload them to an account.

It's trialware, so you can ensure it works before buying it. However, the developer is one guy, not a company, and if you like the app, please consider buying it. I've used it for years and been pleased with the results, although I've ever set it to send things to .Mac.

You can send stills and/or video clips.

Thanks. Im going to check it out. Ill look into sending it right to my email. Do you use it with your isight?

Works Perfectly

This software is awesome. It does exactly what I wanted. It takes a still photo using my ishigt camera, attaches it to an email, and sends it to me. I than check my email from my iPhone and there is the still image. I have it set for every hour and I have my isight pointed at my dog.

Awesome.

Thanks

PS Regardless of wether its a large corporation or an individual stealing is stealing.

Thanks again
