Is this just a UK thing, or does absolutely nobody use ichat? I have the application, and .mac account, however none of the people with macs i know have the .mac account. SO i have never been able to use this programme. Is it actually any good? Or am I not filling my potential as a human being not being able to use this ;)

Hard to believe that none of your friends uses AIM ...

If anyone you know uses AIM, you should be able to see them.

what does AIM stand for?

i must say, apart from a couple of macrumors members, all of my contacts in ichat are in the states.

we tend to use msn messenger a lot more here. ugh.

Ok then, people feel free to add me to ichat so i can use it :)

Everyone I know uses MSN, I have no need for iChat. Apple need to poke their heads out of the U.S. window and realise that there's a big wide world out here and most of it uses MSN unfortunately.

That's funny, I live in the states and pretty much everyone I know is on AIM, except for the three people I know in the UK... who are all on MSN, I wonder why didn't I notice that before...
