Will MAC ever sync with web cams on MSN? My daughter has been the other side of the world for the past 6 months. We've communicated via MSN (on my MAC) but of course the camera bit doesn't work. She's also tried an AIM account but that didn't work her end for some reason,. When will Mac sort this out - any plans? I feel this is quite a key bad point with macs at the moment (I have a new intel iMAC and powerbook)

You do know that Microsoft makes the MSN messenger. So Apple (not Mac) has nothing to do with this. If microsoft decides to make a version of MSN messenger for Mac that supports webcam then you can.

Also try aMSN i believe that has web cam support

or use Yahoo


And FYI iChat has nothing to do with this thread at all. Unless you want to use iChat for the video with your daughter on AIM
