Iclarified vs. Ziphone for unlocking 1.1.2 OTB

I have 1.1.2 OTB jailbroken activated and have been using with an UltraSIm, due to sms issues I am thinking of Software unlock. Which method is the best:

Using installer and downloading Geohot unlock via Iclarified source, see link

Or
Ziphone

or some other method?

Is there any benefit to using one over the other?
Which has the least risk of having a problem?

Thanks, I think I might just wait for Ziphone to work with 1.1.4 or use Independece(just not sure if I should wait for it to be out of beta).
