I have multiple devices using the 5GB Free iCloud option for documents and game save syncing. I have no backups from IOS devices backed up to iCloud, yet my account says 2.29GB used for Device Backups. I have been to the settings app on both iPhone and iPad, no backups. I have been through preferences on my Macbook, (this should show any backups) it shows none. I'm using 400mb for documents etc and all seems ok with that.

I've looked at icloud.com using a browser on my mac and it confirms the 2.29GB used for device backups (shown as a yellow line and named Backup), but nowhere can I see what the backup is of.

In settings-iCloud-storage-manage storage you have no backups showing in the backups area? If you do have something it will be associated with a device name.

On a side note, why are you not doing backups? Are you doing them manual on iTunes?

I had been doing iTunes backups as I didn't want to pay for the 50GB iCloud option. An update to the above it was my iPad 4 having an issue backing up to iCloud. In the end I backed up to the mac, restored it and now it is fine. Must have been gremlins going from iOS 8.4 to 9.1.
