icloud and backups

With icloud is there any need to backup with itunes anymore? Aside from transferring video files do we need to sync to itunes if we have icloud backup setup?

Wondering the samething, the beta copy of iTunes 10.5 let me sync both to the PC and iCloud but the proper release doesn't let you do both.

Now for the iCloud I have turned off some apps because they have insane size AV Player which tries to back up all the video you have. the problem with that is if you restore your phone you lose all the settings for said app.

I hope the restore from icloud works better than itunes. I don't know how many times since I've had an iphone where the restore from backup failed for some reason or other. Speaking of which how does one actually "restore from icloud"? I can't find the setting for this.
