Hello,
I was looking for advice on moving from Google's services to iCloud services. I think I got most of it, but when I went to sync my contacts, I ended up with duplicates. It's hard to tell which contact is from which account so I test delete one and then that contact disappears from my iPhone's contact list. Is there a better and cleaner way to make the move?
Also, I hope that I'm not taking the wrong path, its just that I wanted to consolidate our family's email and calendars with one provider instead of two.

Thanks,
Will

Just go into your mail settings and turn off contact syncing for your Google account and hit yes when it asks you if you want to delete contacts associated with that account.

Hey there, thanks for that tip. I was moving the contacts from google to my mac by using the account sync in the address book application, On My Mac (Local) <> Synchronize with Google. This grabbed all of my contacts from Google and copied them to my Mac's local address book. Now I want to move the contacts On My Mac (Local) to iCloud. And can I delete those contact On My Mac (Local)?

Thanks,
Will
