iCloud and Pages (Mac-to-mac)

Hi,

How am I able to share my pages documents over iCloud from my iMac to my MacBook? As far as I can see, it only works between Mac and iPhone/iPad or iPad and iPhone. Am I missing something?

I yet don't have an iPad and have no need to see my documents in my iPhone - sharing between my computers however would be awesome. Is Dropbox still the best option?

The way I see it, iWorks documents only get pushed to iOS devices, to have the latest version of a Pages Document that is in iCloud on your Macs, you have to manually download the file from the iCloud domain (from the iWork web app).
And then re upload it to iCloud ounce finished working on it so it can get pushed to all iOS devices. Then Delete the older file from iCloud.

At first I was sure that the OSX version of iWork was going to get my iCloud documents pushed the my iMac .... then I did some research and saw that I have to manually download my files and re upload them after ... with can be a problem of file naming and finding with one is the most recent when switching from MAC to iOS ....

I think Apple Dropped the ball on that one or am I missing something?

Why give a useful feature to users now when Apple can make us pay for it with the next version of iWork?

iCloud and all related services are a first gen product that we're beta testing for Apple. Luckily this time around it's free (except for iTunes Match, but $25 is pretty good even with the bugs). I say in about two years we'll see iCloud shine. Think back to the first version of iOS and the lack of copy and paste. We'll get the features and fixes we want from iCloud. It's just going to be a matter of waiting.

The future of the "Post PC" has to do with Cloud, no more file managing, you just do your work on your Mac or PC and when you are finished, just pic up your iOS device and all your work is already there.
Thats the future I am hoping for !
