iCloud Apple id avatar /pic not showing

My Apple ID avatar picture has disappeared from my iPhone and iPad : now there are only my initials even if on my Mac-Mojave it shows correctly.

If I go to iCloud on my Mac using Safari and change it there
it stays till I log out. If I log back in I need to upload the picture again.

It is on my Contacts app under my info card, in Users &Groups and in Messages
No way to show it in settings on the iPhone or iPad , both with iOS 14.4
I have an old iPhone not updated and still with iOS 13, sorry Apple 😉 : there it shows as it should
Any idea ? Doesn't iCloud support the icon any longer?!

mine takes 3 seconds then the image appears in Mojave MacBook air
my avatar is on the iphone5 as well
perhaps you need to reset that on one device?

I remember when it was doing the same.😊 Now it sticks in Mojave but not everywhere else

Today all my devices without doing anything on my side, had my original icon restored! Yeah!

Apple must have fixed something on their servers, I guess
A little step but I like it 😊
