Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
Hi, I have tried twice now, once on my iPhone and now my Mac, I have even activated my email address as an account, but when it tells me I shall receive an email to continue iCloud setup with both these accounts I get no email? nothing?

Anyone know what to try?

Did you go to appleid.apple.com and verify it is a vaild Applid and that the associated email address is verified.

Fixed it!! I checked and investigated and I made a new Apple ID using my same email address as my existing Apple ID. My existing ID is an old school one so uses a username rather then email address to access iTunes, App Store etc.

My email address I have been using is already verified under my existing account so it was getting all confused. I just removed all my details from the new account, freeing up my email address, went into my existing account and changed my Apple ID from the username to the email address and bang, iCloud setup and working!

I only really want it for my phone as my computer has too much on it for the 5GB space you get!! And my emails all imap anyway.

I am having a hard time getting iCloud up and running. It initially asked me for an email address, so I tried to use my existing MobileMe email and it wouldn't take it. So then I gave it my regular email address and it took it, but I don't want that as my iCloud email address. I want my MobileMe email address back! I'm so confused by this transition!

Reading up on my issue a lot of people are having trouble with the MobileMe adresses. I don't recall seeing a one stop solution so suggest you google around mate. But I think Apple is aware of the issues.
