Maybe iPhone 15PM has 450G files already, backup to iCloud is failed often and take very long time.

Is there a way to use type-c to backup to iCloud or back to an external HD?

If you connect it to a Mac, you can backup to the Mac's internal storage. I don't know of any way to directly back it up to an external HD.

Yes, it can change backup directory to external HD, but to keep iPhone connect with a Mac to backup every night is kind of troublesome

Video, files, application(some application’s data is huge, more than 200G)

You could try excluding certain apps from the iCloud backup to give it a chance to finish, then add those apps back in one at a time letting the backup complete between each one.

There are applications which allow you to backup your Phone, such as iMazing. Wired or wirelessly.
