Hi,

Using my iPad 2 for it's last week. Next week we can finally get 'The new iPad' here in Amsterdam. I'm planning on restoring from an iCloud Backup, which I have never done before. My iPad 2 contains apps from 2 different iTunes accounts. One from the Dutch Store and one from the US Store. My iCloud E-Mail is different from those 2 again. Do you think that will make any problems? I do not think it will because the apps are purchased legit from the App Store and I think (and hope) it will recognize the apps are from different accounts and will merge them fine…

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

Usually when you unlock the device after the restore it'll nag you for your passwords for any accounts you've used to buy apps.

Same here: I backuped my iPad 2 via iCloud and restored my iPad 3rdgen from there. Took quite some time; as somewhere mentioned all apps get reloaded from AppStore in latest ersion and you need to enter all your passwords from iTunes and email accounts.
Due to the huge reload from AppStore I had some stucked icons (waitIng orpending) I had to click and reload again. Was a bit of manual excercise.
For two apps (good reader and a 3rd party photo app) I decided to not restore as I couldn't see any progress. Those I will have to do manually.

After restore I renamed the iPad 3 to have a new restore set in iCloud.
