Okay so I followed the sticky guide in this forum and I backed up my jailbroken 4s then restored. I noticed I still have 1.5 gb in 'other'. So I guess I'll just set up my phone as new. But I still want to have my notes photos calendars etc. so I went on iCloud and turned those on. If I restore my phone as new and login to iCloud, those will all be synced to my phone right??

(i dont have another device on icloud. so i would get all my stuff back if i deleted it off my phone, restored as new, then logged in again?)

As long as they have had time to sync via Wifi with iCloud, yes, they will be restored once you enable iCloud again after the restore.
