Hi

Maybe I'm bad at searching the forum, but I can't find an answer to my question.

How do I upload a folder (full of pictures) to iCloud Photo Beta, from my mac?

At the moment all my pictures are on my MAC. I want to upload them to iCloud Photo, 1 folder at a time? :)

Possible?

Thanks.

Not currently. Your options at the moment are:

1. Wait for the Mac Photos app to be public and upload using that (will do in bulk).

2. Airdrop your photos to an iPad/iPhone etc which will then upload to iCloud PL.

3. Get hold of a copy of the Dev Preview of 10.10.3 (which includes the Photos App).

4. Upload each photo individually using the web interface.

After considering 3, and trying to do 2 a few times (with 7000+ photos - very frustrating), I've decided to wait, and do 1.

Hope this helps,

JG

Edit: Looks like 1. is now a possibility! https://www.macrumors.com/2015/03/02/os-x-yosemite-public-beta-now-available/
