Apple's website says we will be able to share calendars...can't seem to find out how or where to do this.

Anyone figured it out yet?

Thanks,

I did and it rocks!

You can simply go to iCal on your computer, then click the "calendars" button near the top left (stoplight circle thingies).

Select the particular calendar you want to share

Next go to the "Calendar" pull down menu and select "Share Calendar".

Then start typing in some Emails of the people you want to share.

They will get a "subscribe" email with a link.

The reason why I say it "rocks" is that before with MobileMe, you couldn't share calendars with cheapskate friends who were not cash subscribers to MobileMe. Almost none of my Apple friends here could be coaxed to pay $90 bucks per year. And this stupidly prevented them from subscribing to my calendars.

Another reason I think it rocks is that it does appear that the subscribers can have some freedom to edit the calendar they have subscribed to.

I just did this tonight and I was pleasantly surprised - but it's not conclusive results yet, so don't hold me to this. I think I did what I did, but actually on one iPhone I set up I might have it subscribed to 2 iClouds? So I'm just figuring it out too.

Anyway - I sure wish you could do this kind of sharing with "groups" in Address Book.
