icloud.com in Safari washed out

I have a strange issue with Safari. When I open icloud.com the page is all washed out. it is like covered in fog, but when I log in, it seems to be working fine - see attached screenshot.

My other users are not expiriencing this issue, it is just my user account.

I do not want to blow away my user account and I am wondering if anyone knows the fix on how to fix this in Safari? What is a good way to reset all Safari settings to the default?
