I use iCloud.com a lot as it's a convenient way to access and work on my stuff while I have downtime at work, so I thought it might be interesting and/or useful to pool our knowledge along the lines of an 'All the Little Things' thread.

  • One thing I've noticed are seemingly random signouts, though I blame this on work internet, probably has something to do with the way our network is configured. Though I've noticed similar signouts when signing into a different Apple ID (from the one that is currently signed into iCloud.com) on appleid.apple.com. Thoughts?
  • I find it pretty funny that in Pages (and I'm assuming other apps where applicable) is that, when attempting to right-click and copy/paste/whatever, it forces you to use the keyboard shortcut! I thought maybe the reminder was just a one time thing and that it would still copy the text, but nope, you gotta use the shortcut or ELSE. :D
  • As I have Two-Step verification turned on, there is I think an extra option after I've put in my password to access :apple:Pay, Find My iPhone, and... a third option that I've forgotten at the moment. It's interesting to note that clicking on one of these takes you to the Dashboard/Home screen of iCloud.com, but there are little padlocks on all the apps except for a few.

The apps I use the least (and therefore have the least to comment about) are Numbers, Keynote, Reminders, Find Friends, and Find iPhone. I don't use Photos at all, though I know it's pretty clunky from secondary experience.

What other interesting things have y'all noticed when using iCloud.com?
