Hi all, I'm getting a 16GB iPad mini, but I have a question regarding iCloud. If I were to buy an app could I store it in the cloud and not have it count against the 16GB (14GB) storage, and then retrieve it when I want it? Or is that not how iCloud works?

Well I think you could achieve that, but it's not a conventional method for the use of iCloud.

Honestly if you're worried about gbs with apps, then you should upgrade to the 32. Having to constantly delete apps or something is going to seriously degrade the user experience.

Get more GB! I bought a 16 GB thinking I didn't really need more and have regretted it ever since. While technically you could do what you want, it would be a major pain. Think of all the apps that save data, when you delete it and then reinstall it every time you want to use it you will quickly be pulling all your hair out! At the moment, I have deleted all the apps that I don't use and I STILL have 3 apps that I can't update because there isn't enough room. It sucks!
