I been having an issue all night trying to connect to iCloud and I keep getting the same error message that it failed to connect after it accepted my password. I tried on my iMac 27" 5K which is 5 years old. So I then tried my M1 MacBook Air and continued to have the same issue. I guess it is time to break out my old HP laptop and see if that works

Well after all this time the issue I had finally taken this issue to Apple support and after 2 and half hours today on my phone it was discovered that for some unknown reason my account had been activation locked. After several failed attempts support finally got the lock off and I can now log in to my account. This issue of the activation lock was on all of my devices and I have a idea that it possibly was a issue when I activated my Apple Watch or possibly my wife accidental pushing the wrong item on her iPhone 13 mini.
