iCloud ??? Double accounts?

What can I do when I have a 2 accounts with apple...

one is for my iTunes as a gmail account and has all my purchases
the other is my icloud/old mobile me which i love because its myfirstname@me.com

is there a way to transfer purchases to that account? or shall i make my gmail.com account my iCloud account?

I'm really confused for solutions.

There is no way to transfer purchases or merge accounts.

You can use separate accounts for independent services, such as the iTunes store and Notes syncing (or multiple accounts for several features).
