iCloud Drive alternatives?

Hi,

For me, iCloud Drive is far too slow to allow consistent levels of productivity.

What's the best equivalent for remote access to pages and numbers docs that I should seriously consider, or is everyone here using iCloud Drive?

I don't know if it gives you off-the-cuff access to iCloud documents BUT I've been using OneDrive, with MS's Office365 subscription, to store all my data in the cloud - and its pretty awesome. After a month or so of paying you also get 10TB of data and then unlimited shortly thereafter. Have a ganders.

Why do you think it's slow? Care to elaborate what specific productivity restrictions you have with it

For personal use, I will take OneDrive or Google Drive, depends if you use a lot of Gmail or more relaying on Windows.

For collaboration work, I would use Dropbox as it seems that everyone is using it.

iCloud Drive is pretty slow for me too.

iCloud Drive has been far too unreliable for me so far. Slow syncing, devices regularly out of sync, and for reasons best known to Apple, you still have to put up with those app container folders even though you've switched to 'Drive'?

OneDrive is exceptional value for money on paper (Office + 1TB storage for £5.99 p.m) but the syncing is painfully slow, particularly on the Mac app. Also, the folders are very finicky about which are 'Document' or 'Picture' folders, and this impacts how Office for iPad reads them.

Dropbox isn't especially good value for how much storage you get, but by god the syncing is practically flawless. You get what you pay for.
