Hi,

I've just installed iOS 8 and activated iCoud Drive - fully aware that it will break sync with Mavericks.

Using the iCloud Drive icon on iCloud.com, I can see the contents of Pages, Keynote and Numbers.

I was hoping, however, that I would also be able to see the iCloud content of Preview and TextEdit - both of which I use to store many documents.

So...

Can I not see Preview and TextExit in iCloud Drive because they are not supported, or is it because I don't have the Yosemite beta installed on my Mac and they haven't been kind-of "activated" like Pages/Keynote/Numbers have?

I was hoping to get away without installing the Yosemite beta and just getting by with the iCloud.com interface...

Any help much appreciated.

Steve.

I think it takes time to update. Mine wasn't displaying either for awhile but then it all started showing up.

So you CAN see Preview and TextEdit documents in the iCloud Drive web interface at iCould.com???

If so, how long did you have to wait and, more importantly, do you have the Yosemite beta installed on your Mac?

I'd really appreciate your input,

Steve.

I have the Yosemite Beta and yes I can see Preview, TextEdit, Quicktime and a couple of folders that I dragged into the iCloud Drive folder in Yosemite's finder.

I think it took maybe an hour for them to show up but they weren't full initially. Seems slow to update.

Wonder whether I'm not seeing them because I don't have Yosemite? Damn -I was really hoping this would work...

Can you think of any way to trigger it?

Steve.

No not really. Someone mentioned signing out and back into iCloud but I didn't have to do that.

Just logged onto iCloud on my Mavericks machine and its all the same on there.

Still not showing on iCloud.com, but I can see my folders using iOS8 apps that allow saving to iCloud Drive...

How to get everything to show in the web interface?

It's genuinely perplexing that you can't view iCloud PDFs on iOS 8. Would have thought it would be a no-brainer to either make a dedicated iCloud drive app or Preview app. I wonder what they're thinking...
