Hi All,

Can I use iCloud Drive as online storage only - or select what to have locally?

I do not need yet another app/daemon mirroring local stuff, and it seems ID just shows what's in ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents.

Daniel =)

Why not?

Settings > iCloud. Turn it off, or, click on "Options" to disable/enable piecemeal.

Can always use iCloud.com to upload/download items.

I see that - but what about the stuff dragged from Finder?

I copy a 300MB file to iCloud Drive and it copies it to /Mobile Documents.. so now I have a duplicate. Fine. I delete the file but it's still stored locally in /Mobile Documents.

I would be great if it stayed in the cloud until I choose to download it :)
