Hi guys,
I want my macbook pro's Desktop and Documents folders to be replicated in iCloud instantaneously. I know it can to this for Desktop, but can it do it for the Documents folder too?

PS: I do not want to remove Documents folder from my Mac. I just want the files to be replicated like it does for Desktop folder.
Thanks

Yes, that’s what I do so everything is accessible from my iMac, MBA, iPad, and iPhone. It moves the documents to the ~/Library/Mobile Documents folder but creates a hard link so you don’t notice it in Finder. You will want to make sure that “Optimize storage on this device” is turned off so it doesn’t try to free up space.

Thanks. But it removed my Documents folder from Mac Finder. How can I see it?

There should be a documents folder under iCloud Drive. May need to check the view preferences in Finder.
Yes there is. But isnt this folder a remote folder? I want to know where it is located on Macintosh HD?

As I mentioned in my previous post, the Documents folder in iCloud is stored in ~/Library/Mobile Documents/. Since it’s in your user folder, Time Machine backs it up.
