iCloud Drive Issue

Upon installation of Big Sur, iCloud Drive did not automatically begin downloading my files. After waiting 24 hours on Apple's recommendation, I issed the command "Killall bird" in terminal. iCloud immediately began downloading. It has been relatively slow but it is happening. Anyone else?

Same here. Contacted Apple support but they couldn’t help me.
