iCloud Drive requirement for online Pages

I haven't used Pages online since the ******* changeover of .... whatever they did.

There is no option to NOT upgrade. You click on Pages then hit cancel for the 'upgrade' and then it just goes back.

For those who don't know; iCloud still backs up stuff you do on the iPad and iPhone (I don't have any other iOS devices).

But I can't use Pages online.

If I screw up my iCloud.com account with this Drive b******t do I have to screw up my iPhone with this iCloud Drive?

Or I can leave my iDevices alone and finally use Pages online?

What is your problem with using Pages with iCloud Drive ?

The horror stories in other threads about changes not being saved, files not syncing, files disappearing altogether ...

No issues here. Also, big self-selection bias in those who come to vent about bugs encountered. Also the minority of cases.

Give it a try.

Well, I've been messing with it the past two days.

So far ........... so good.

I did back up my main stuff beforehand lol.
