Guys, I've just begun using iCloud to store my documents. But I've noticed that saving the most simple of Word documents which contain only 5 - 10 lines takes a good few seconds to save. But when saving to DropBox, the same documents save instantaneously.

Is it normal for a document this small to take so long to save on iCloud? If so, I'd hate to think how long a large file size would take to save.

If you are referring to the time from the point of saving to when it has finished syncing to iCloud, then yes, my experience is that is about right. The entire document gets synced back to iCloud on every save.

Thanks mate. I'm baffled why it takes so long as Dropbox saving is instant and milli seconds.
