iCloud Drive syncing working in Beta?

Does anyone know if iCloud Drive syncing works in this and future public betas? The existing syncing of the iCloud Drive folder and the new desktop/docs syncing they announce.

I remember last year during the beta period iCloud syncing wasn't turn on. If its off again I will probably hold off on the beta this year. I remember having issues last year with that.

I didn't have any issues with iCloud Drive last year. I remember having issues during 7 or 8 when they totally switched to iCloud syncing and the new structure.

This is a simple change on the Mac end. I doubt that it will affect anything. I haven't noticed any issue so far

You can put your desktop on iCloud even if you don't have iOS 10 using a symbolic link.

So what exactly is new about this update.

Making it more like Dropbox i.e. Can choose any folders on the mac instead of having to specifically use the iCloud Drive folder?
