Are they serious? I remember using this feature with the old iDisk that was available back in OS 9. So apple creates (or re-releases) a old previously available function of the Mac OS and the calls it new because its 13 years later.

Rebuilt from the ground up. Read up on it's feature set and what it is now, compared to what it was before you rant and rave about nothing.

MobileME was good at the time but crap when it came to storing and accessing files. It was not integrated well and caused lots of problems. Apple finally did it right with iCloud Drive.

Actually they did not have that in 2001. They used IDisk or whatever it was called back in OS9. Before MobileMe they had something else.
