Hello,

Great Forum and folks.

Sr. Citizen now, very, so will blame my ignorance on that.

Regarding iCloudDrive (on Desktop):

What is it ?

Causes me all sorts of problems and inconveniences.

I thought a ways back I got rid of it, but it's back.

*How, please do I totlly get rid of it, forever ?

Thanks,
Bob

iCloud Drive is Apple's storage in the cloud. If it is turned on, you can store files/folders in iCloud Drive and have them available on all your Apple devices. It also syncs file/folders on your Desktop and Documents folder so these are available on all your Apple devices.

Open Settings app > Apple Id > iCloud > iCloud Drive ... turn it off.
