For the most part I've been happy with MobileMe and now iCloud when it comes to syncing. My e-mails show up on my device just fine.

But lately it seems that when I go into the Mail app on my iPhone it says "Connecting..." and then -much to my surprise- it downloads mail from my me.com account, rather than it already being there in my inbox. I checked my settings and it is indeed set to "Push" (as always).

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

i have used MM email and push always worked fine. now that i transferred to iCloud push doesn't work very often. I am done using iCloud and switched back to gmail. iCloud email just isn't reliable.

Same here. But I've read that disabling Find iPhone option in iCloud helps a lot for the push mail on iCloud :) try that out...
