I downloaded iOS 5 this past weekend. iCloud seems to be working for me, except for email. I have turned on email in the iCloud settings on the phone, but I still do not see the @me.com account in mail.app. I've tried turning mail on and off several times in the settings app. Sometimes I get the "Turning mail off/Turning mail on" animation, but other times I don't.

I tried just adding an account under the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars section, but it won't let you do that since iCloud is already on.

Shouldn't the @me.com account just appear in mail.app after I turn on iCloud Mail?

Any ideas for a fix? I've tried turning the phone off and back on, etc. No dice. The rest of iCloud seems to work fine, and I can access my @me.com email from the iCloud.com website.

Try deleting the iCloud account on your iPhone and then adding it again. My iCloud email worked like that (without needing to manually add a mail account in "Mail, contacts, calendars" settings).

Did that and it fixed the issue! iCloud email is now working great. Thanks!

No Probs :D, my email was working before but only the push wasn't working on iPhone, so doing this helped. If anyone is experiencing unusual problems/glitches with iCloud services they should consider doing this!
