is anyone else having their email app just continuously checking for email and not stopping? Something to do with iCloud email maybe?

iPhone has no mail since yesterday. iPad no mail since this am. Mac no mail for last 3 hours. But I was able to sign in to icloud using browser Failed attempts, but it won't load mail.
