I get this error message every time the computer is trying to start up. It slows up the browser start too. I would like very much to get rid of it. Thanks a million for any help you may have.

That is not really an error, it is a notification that there is a problem that you can fix by going to iCloud preferences, and fix whatever needs to be updated there.
Does that help?

Once I get to iCloud in System Preferences, I don't know what to do to fix it.

Something in that iCloud pane will have a badge, or some other way of determining what you need to look at.
Make sure that the items in your Account Details are correct, and up-to-date.
Are there any badges that indicate where you may need to look?
