So I installed the latest update and now I'm seeing the Safari Page scrolling bug, the MobileMe preference isn't working, and iCloud is completely gone even after I reinstalled it.

Is anyone else having these problems?

Yup...
In the mail, contacts page, it just shows my email now.

Well the crashing Mail bug got fixed, but now it's introduced a bunch of new bugs... I guess that's just the development cycle.

It's a vicious cycle.

All I know is that anything is better than DP3 with its constantly "Not Responding" Safari.

Hopefully Apple will get out another fix in the next few days. I was just starting to enjoy iCloud.

They might have pulled iCloud on purpose. It won't be in the GM because it won't be ready in July.

My MobileMe preference pane is screwed up, and I can no longer add iCloud accounts from the account manager.

I reinstalled the iCloud patch for Lion, but it didn’t seem to do anything. Perhaps Apple had decided to kill the MobileMe pane and give iCloud its own dedicated preference pane, but I doubt this…

Could be a new bug. I don’t think this is going to be an intentional change that will persist even after iCloud launches.

Very odd. I just starting up my computer a minute ago and iCloud is back to normal. Same for the MobileMe Preference pane. It's odd, but oh well. At least it works.

Unfortunately I now have about 5 copies of all of my contacts. Does anyone know an easy way to kill duplicates?

this thread makes me glad im not into tinkering anymore

You and me both. I can't afford a development machine, and I also can't afford to lose access to everything I own due to a show stopping bug.

That's why I let everyone else be the guinea pig. :D

Can’t say I’m having the same luck. Tried repairing disk permissions and reinstalling the iCloud update. Oh well.

EDIT: I installed iCloud.pkg with Pacifist and clicked “replace” whenever prompted to overwrite a file. Somehow this fixed everything. Very odd.
