Hey i need some help please. I accidentally deleted some contacts from my iphone (long story) and my icloud contacts have been updated taking into account the deletion of the contacts. I have an ipad that has been switched off for days and i assume on it my contacts are intact. How can i restore from that ipad my contacts to icloud and hence to my iphone? I assume if i turn it on and theres wifi it will be updated with the fewer contacts from icloud. Any help please? Greatly appreciated.

Assuming there’s only a few, I’d turn the WiFi off (or go somewhere where there’s no WiFi) and manually enter them into your other device. If there’s 100s, good luck.

I don’t sync through iTunes anymore, haven’t for years, but I do backups on it when doing major software upgrades or buying a new phone. If you sync your iPad with iTunes, or with anything, I think it will take the newest version of your Contacts data and you’ll lose your deleted contacts. Maybe someone who knows more about this than me will come along and have a fix.

Thanks. Any one else has any other ideas? They are a lot of contacts!
