My wife and I each have an iPhone and we share an iPad. We use the same apple ID for iTunes purchases on all 3 devices but are confused about iCloud. We have different contacts/calendars/ apps etc on each device and are afraid if we back up all 3 devices to the same iCloud account (apple id) it will copy info from one device to another. I created a new apple id for her phone and entered it for the iCloud account but iCloud backup isn't an option, it says "only your main account can be used for photo stream, docs&data, and backup." So what do we do to each back up with iCloud without info transferring between devices?

Also not sure I understand the difference between having calendar, contacts, bookmarks etc turned on and having backup turned on?

Finally do the phones still wirelessly sync to iTunes at night if ICloud back up is on?

Thanks

You set up your own iCloud account.

It's in the iCloud settings before you put in an account. It lets you setup up a free account.

Set one up for yourself, and one for her.
