I update iOS 11.2.2 on my 5s but i don't see any performance improvement, i just logout my iCloud id for some reason and surprisingly it's faster than before and all 3rd party apps are running normally, and I think you can't believe I got a fantastic battery life. Anyone who has experienced this?

It is because iCloud continuously sync and backup. In short, it’s part of indexing after update. For me, I do manual backup using iTunes or separate apps and I only use iCloud for Find My iPhone. In iCloud, I recommend to disable syncing for items you don’t use/need.

Yes it is, but i just use my iCoud id for contacts and everything was disabled.

I could recommend a separate app for contact backup like MCBackup or MCBackupPro where you configure what you would like to save for contacts like photo, email, address etc and you can upload it via email or Dropbox. Restore contacts via email, dropbox or WiFi upload/download contacts.
