OS X Mountain Lion and I guess also the next iOS (6.0) will be realesed this summer. Some of the features for Apple's next OS X version are very famous apps like Reminders, iMessages a new Notes application from iOS.

  • What do you think about iCloud?
  • Will Apple come up with some iCloud improvements, too?
  • Is there a chance for a web based Reminders or Notes app, or perhaps a new iDisk?
  • Could Apple improve its iMessage service as a "web messenger"?
  • ...

I'm hoping for something that takes DropBox more head-on... proper document storage and sharing via iCloud. These documents could be managed from iOS by some sort of new filesystem app in iOS 6 (controversial)

Only time will tell.

I like the ideas of a dropbox esque feature syncing all files between OS X and iOS devices, would even take it as far as to say elected folders on your home drive.

I would also like to see iCloud synchronisation for more of the iOS apps. Tweetbot has just been updated to keep track of read tweets. Games and other apps should also have this feature.

Unless Apple has a shift in philosophy I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Their stated goal is to remove the need for the user to need to access the file system in order to access and store their data.

The only thing that is keeping me from purchasing storage from iCloud is the lack of some form of dropbox. I don't need much because I have a 50GB Box account but just for those few small files that I want instantly accessible anywhere.

I don't expect improvements in iCloud that will do me any good. What I want is the ability to keep iCloud from making changes on my computer like mobilme had unless I give permission first. I don't expect that will happen.

I would love to see mail updates being sync'd across iOS devices with iCloud. As we know updates via web or OS X mail does not update on the iOS devices.

As far as iCloud improvements go, I'd like the see the addition of personal domain email, or at least the return of the "send as" function that was in MobileMe.

Sorry but can't remember this feature. Did you mean a default option? Because I can still use all of my @me.com-aliases with my iPhone, iPad and Macs. I only have to pick a address.

Has nothing to do with aliases, has to do with personal domains (me@mydomain.com).

all i would like is a new iDisk/Dropbox type of file syncing. It was mentioned that they wanted to buy Dropbox before so i think it is something that will come along at some point.

Just noticed a minor change they have already made. In the web calendar they now give you a full color gradient when choosing calendar colors instead of the 6 or 7 options they gave us before.
