I enabled advanced data protection on my iCloud account and iCloud on my PC says it needs an update to work with my account now. Windows store doesn't say there is an update available. There appears to be no other way to install icloud for windows.

How long do I need to wait for the windows store to get it's act together?

Any other way to get the latest icloud for windows?

Same, I think that this is the only way to get iCloud installed sadly because of the windows store (which I hate). I cleared the store's cache because of some issues I was having and it's now said that I have no apps installed for the last week.

When I did try signing into the current iCloud app on my PC, my iPhone and iPad both were signed out of my Apple account and I had to re-sign in and reset my password, so not trying that again anytime soon.

I tried posting on the support forums and they basically told me to "contact Apple"...um that's what I was doing? I know it's volunteers there but I'd assume some Apple employees are there too.

Found this on reddit. I'm not seeing 14.1. Uninstalled it and app store still says it's installed. Buggy store, buggy app.

That actually worked for me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, checked my version and it's 14.1.108.0 from the M$ Store. Uninstalling it, clearing the store's cache/rebooting my PC and then reinstalling it allowed me to log back in on my PC.
