I am not sure in which subforum this should be, but I have to post it somewhere:

I am using an iPhone 11 and a Windows 8.1 Desktop setup. This has worked well for a year now, since I often drop files and pictures from my iPhone into the "Files" App on my iPhone and then I can have access to them via my Windows PC in the iCloud folder. I installed as explained on the Apple website everything and it worked stable for a year. Now after my 2 weeks holiday, I can put files into my iPhone but on the Windows PC the folders are not getting updated with new data.
I checked via the Webbrowser (icloud.com) and I can see that the files are in the iCloud but the don't appear in my Windows folders if I am not going via the webbrowser in my iCloud (but directly through the Windows explorer) ...

I don't know what happened. I don't think I have changed anything in my Apple settings.
Can someone help me? This is my only way to easily have access to my iPhone files on my Desktop

Your English is fine. I wouldn't have guessed you weren't a native English speaker if you hadn't told me!

Most people on this forum are Mac users though, so be patient waiting for assistance.

The only thing I can think to recommend is to make sure the iCloud software on your Windows machine is up to date, perhaps try reinstalling iCloud for Windows. It could also be due to you running Windows 8 and it is approaching end of life.

iCloud has long been my least reliable cloud service for cross device sync on Windows. I'm surprised you made it a year with no problems! Let me know if you find a solution! Mine is usually just signing out of iCloud on Windows, signing back in, and hoping for the best.

Yes probably Windows 8 is the problem here. Already last year the installation for Windows 8 needed manual installation from the Apple website. And maybe they stopped the update on 31.12.2021… I should check this information before I go through the installation struggle again.
Thanks for your answers (and thanks for this complement, even though I think you try to flatter me and exaggerate a bit :D )
