Hi guys,
I'm sorry to say but iCloud has not been an "It just works" experience for me..
I only have OSX Lion no IOS5 devices but so far:
1. I haven't been able to send an email from mail in my mac without having an error saying something like "The server p05-smtp.mail.me.com cannot be contacted on the default ports.";
2. None of my contacts are in iCloud;
3. None of my calendar events are on iCloud;
4. On iTunes store preferences there is no music combo box for automatic downloads so I'm guessing it won't work;
5. I may even concede that I should have done some configurations but then again it is not an it just works thing. And if there is stuff to be done then I have not found enough/simple information on how to do it from Apple.
I hope you guys are having an easy transition but bottom line, for me it is just not working as I guessed it should.
Cheers,
Joe
