I finally decided to try out the suggested password that Safari suggested so that it's saved to,the iCloud Keychain. I sign back on to safari and the password was never saved. What am I missing here???

It work in OSX for me most of the time. However when I use the "suggested" password it rarely transfers over to iOS.

You don't need to use the suggested password for it to remember your password.

Also in my experience some sites just don't work well with keychain while others work great. Websites that redirect for a password after a user name has been entered don't work well for me. And some websites have multiple login locations that throw it for a loop. Mobile sites when switching from OS X to iOS don't always work either.

That said it works the majority of the time for me. However I don't use it as a feature so I don't need to remember my password. I use it for a layer of convenience for logging in faster.

Thanks guys. Keychain works I guess when I type in my own password to be saved in safari. However as I stated the generated one seems to not be saved. I would have to write it down (copy onto clipboard) then re enter it then it's saved. Seems kind of pointless. Maybe will try 1password for Mac.
