iCloud iCloud Mail: "Cannot empty Trash"!?

Does this happen often or to lot of people?
Any workarounds?
Does it matter if there are several clients connected to this mailbox from ios/ipados/macos?

The only time I have seen that is when there is a lot of mail in the trash. No idea why it does it but not unheard of.

Today I managed to empty the trash in small junks at a time.
They should tell this in their user guide...
...and why not in that notification?
