I've been trying to use iCloud mail for a while (just to have contacts, calendars and mail in one service only) but every mail i get ends up in spam, so i guess it's not ready yet

Would you recommend any free mail provider apart from Gmail?

Perhaps your time may be better served in determining why every email is sent to the spam folder? I have been using iCloud services since 2012 and I've not had that problem. I suspect that you could solve this problem and then be more comfortable with iCloud usage.

You may be right, but i have absolutely no idea why, do you have mail app junk filters activated?

What would you recommend? contact Apple directly?

What I would do is start another thread and ask how to resolve the problem. Use a thread title that will encourage people to read and add their input, something like "why does every email end up in spam? How to fix?"

The title of this current thread leads people to believe that you've already given up. Starting a new thread with a more relevant title would lead people to believe that you are attempting to resolve the issue and you're seeking their advice. People, in general, like to help and will be more inclined to participate in the thread if they feel that their input is needed.

Also, a little patience can go a long way. It is currently working hours in the US and many members will be busy with work and unable to reply. Give it time and more people will reply as they have time.

Keep this current thread, though, as it will help you learn about alternative email services as part of exploring all of your options.
