Hi everyone,
When I started to use Apple, I created my account using my Gmail email account as Apple ID. Later on, I created also an iCloud email account to be able to sync notes and such. From what I've read, both are valid (and different?) Apple IDs. The thing is that if I go to the "Manage your Apple ID" page and use my iCloud email to log in, it shows my Gmail email as Apple ID and main email account. So it seems that my iCoud email account is somehow linked to the Gmail one (or that Apple ID). What I was trying to do is to start using my iCloud email as main Apple ID for all services, even though if I loose my purchase history in iTunes and so. So, my question is, is there a way to unlink or detach the iCloud account from the Gmail account? Does this scenario make sense? I don't want to merge them or whatever, I just wanna use the iCloud mail as Apple ID and forget about the Gmail one.
Thanks!
