Hi,

Over the past week, emails sent from icloud @me.com account are not being delivered to recipients. These emails are listed in the 'Sent' email folder and there hasn't been any 'email not delivered' messages.

Have others experienced the same problem?

Any suggestions to fix the problem?

Cheers

Are the recipients using various email hosts or all on the same one?

The emails are definitely not going to the recipients' spam folder?
[doublepost=1505486339][/doublepost]Definitely different hosts and not spammed...

Scratching head on this.

Seems like a problem with icloud mail servers sending out mail? Service status reports the system is ok.

Can you think of any commonality among those messages? There were some issues a couple years ago that iCloud was flagging certain words as child porn or something, and if your email contained that word it went into a black hole.

Can you sent that exact same email text to yourself as a test?

Definitely no porn or otherwise offensive related words or phrases plus quite dissimilar email content sent.

Failed the sending same emails to myself test though ie not received... Does this point to any thing else to check or potential fix?

Wonder whether possible to trace the email delivery route to look for potential black hole?

Thanks

It was not porn... but some word somehow Apple had flagged as associated with child porn or spam and it was not.

So you cannot even send those messages to yourself? How about try half or a third of the text at a time to narrow down the word(s). It sounds just like the issue I described earlier.

Does email to those same people with just the word "test" go through? If it does, it sounds like the silent iCloud filtering issue I mentioned. You may need to just call Apple so they can unblock whatever it is triggering the filter.

See my post here.

PROBLEM SOLVED

Step 1
Set mail to local time zone

Step 2
Delete email client's icloud account

Step 3
Add icloud account back onto email client

Somehow email date/time stamps put things out if kilter. Starting afresh -->> problem fixed.

Thanks guys and the folks at Brisbane Apple Centre.
